The young French-American actress Lily-Rose Depp will be the godmother of the Christmas lights of the Champs-Elysees, announced Wednesday the organizers of the Committee Champs-Elysees and the mayor of Paris.

Lily-Rose will be the godmother of the Christmas lights of the Champs-Elysées who launch the season of lighting of the streets of Paris, it will illuminate the famous Parisian avenue, during a ceremony which will take place on the 22 November. She will be accompanied by two children aged 7 and 6, followed by the ‘Petits Prince’s Association, who realize the dreams of sick children. These illuminations will be visible from November 22 to January 07 along the avenue.

Who’s Lily-Rose?

Lily-Rose Melody Depp was born May 27, 1999 is a French-American actress and model. She’s the daughter of Johnny Depp and French singer Vanessa Paradis. Since 2016 she has appeared in major hit films such as ‘La Danseuse’ (role for which she was nominated to the Césars in 2017), ‘Planetarium’ where she gives a reply to Natalie Portman. Since 2015, Lily-Rose is a muse of Chanel for various campaign and also marched several times for the brand.
